I am excited to share with you today an exploding owl box that I made for my niece. She loves owls and I just learned how to make these boxes so I went ahead and made this for her for Christmas. I used the Gift Box Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers. The box size is 3.25x3.25x3.25, just follow the directions that come with the board for that size box. It is super easy. I made my own lid. The measurements for the lid are 6 1/4 by 6 1/4 paper scored at 1 1/2 on all sides. I used the Owl maker Stampin Up Punch to make all the owls and found the awesome sentiment online and printed it out and used my lacey squares spellbinders dies to cut them out. This is the result...
